Newly announced 25% tariffs on countries importing Venezuelan oil are primarily directed at imports from China. PeopleForBikes Offers Translated Battery Operating Manuals in Compliance With New York Battery Safety Law

In response to New York's recent S7503B/A1910B legislation, which aims to improve consumer safety regarding lithium-ion batteries used in electric bicycles, PeopleForBikes created an updated battery operating manual for e-bike manufacturers. This important new law, which goes into effect on January 7, 2025, requires all manufacturers to provide translated versions of a lithium-ion battery operating manual to their customers in printed and digital formats.

In 2023 alone, more than 500,000 e-bikes were sold in the U.S., a number that continues to exceed sales of electric cars and trucks.
